Journey into your own self

Infinite melodies, strong basslines, light rhythms and sounds are his strengths, as well as team building, networking, concepts and style.

Christian Ogrinz began his artistic work in 1982 at the age of nine, driven by his traumatic childhood, empowered by his ADHD autism. Simplicity and good energy, catchiness and calm movement are the common thread of his music.

Artistic collaborations have favoured his development and have always provided surprises along new paths. In addition to music and visual arts, Christian is also in dialogue with other arts and disciplines.

He is currently preparing an immersive sound installation of 12 tracks on 21 loudspeakers with visual artists on 3 continents (Africa, Asia, Europe). The theme is migration and arrival, injury and healing, a journey into your own self.

Christian has delivered works in sound branding for ARTE, Westdeutscher Rundfunk, music conference MostWanted:Music and others as precision landings. He was also the first composer to receive the ARD Radio Play Award for his sound design.

Communication

As a child, Christian Ogrinz often spent time in the homeland of his Yugoslavian family branch. He learnt to communicate without speaking a common language.

Code switching, facial expressions and gestures, patience and humour help to communicate creative processes.
