Global Label and Sound Network

Berlin Wibes are a global label and sound network.

Future music and sound branding in agile teams with recording studios on four continents: Berlin, London, Dakar, Cape Town, Chicago and Seoul.

Berlin-based composer and producer Christian Ogrinz aka Wasserstoff works creatively on team building and leads freelance projects and commissions to success.

Berlin Wibes recently produced a German rap album together with female MCs and young beat designers in a global collaboration focussing on Berlin. The project to create new infrastructure in the music industry is funded by Initiative Musik and the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media. The release date of the first single is 1 November.

Zukunftsmusik (future music) was the precursor to Berlin Wibes and a showcase project for the Berlin music industry at the Reeperbahn Festival Hamburg. Supported by the Bundesverband Pop, young musicians of the future produced their own EP on an equal footing with experienced mentors. Sustainability and diversity were discussed and battled out as panel topics in Hamburg and Berlin:

Open Call

Leaders of the New World

The operation in small, medium and large teams is a trademark of Berlin Wibes: a bundling of interests, the identification of current relevant sounds and topics, as well as politically motivated networking are decisive here. Sound is policy.
